Will Dunn is set to lead our team in Regional 2 North East this season.
Having acted as vice-captain, Will stepped up to captain the side on several occasions last season and, with over đź’Ż games under his belt, has the experience to guide our team in what will be a challenging league.
He is also keen to re-engage with players who have been on the cusp of playing or who may have stepped away from the club.
Continuing our whole-club approach, Will said:
“This isn’t just about the 18 men or women on a Saturday or Sunday — it’s about how us senior players, across all teams, can have positive and meaningful impacts throughout the club.”

Will is going to be assisted by Will Bell another player with plenty of expierence and a well respected figure throughout our team and across the leagues.
Alwys the voice of reason on the pitch as such has earnt back to back Players Player awards.

Triff moves from Player-Coach to full time coach next season, already shown he's very capable and an established coach to bring the best out the players. Good luck with the full role Triff along with Alex Crockett who is staying onboard as Head Coach for another season.

The Marvels have also seen a change in leadership, with Lauren Simpson taking the reins after Emily Midgely stepped down. A regular member of the team, Lauren is also part of York Hockey Club.
Lauren is looking forward to building on the excellent work of the previous skippers and coaches — of which she was vice-captain — and continuing to create an environment where women want to play and enjoy their sport.
Putting together a Women & Girls leadership group is in the making....
