Following the guidance set out by the RFU on Tuesday and discussions led by club development office (CDO) Rich John. We’ve decided to invite players back to the club on the 14th July for “pre-season” using the current rules provided.

New Chair of Rugby Jon Richards (JR) and Head Coach Alex Crockett (AC) formally agreed to this timetable.  “Starting on time gives us the perfect opportunity to get around the players who wish to play and carry on playing for us.  If these rules are still in place come the 14th we expect to divide our 4 pitches up allowing maximum social distancing and depending on numbers we expect to run positional based training and will be inclusive.”

JR now accepted into his role as chair of rugby will be overseeing everything rugby and overtime will want to catch up with everyone adding. “They’ll be no better time than early season training, we can chat with any new or returning players and get them involved.”
