We look forward to welcoming you to the Gannock this afternoon. While we had originally planned two fixtures, unfortunately, Barton has pulled out and refused to travel, seemingly picking and choosing when they want to play. It’s disappointing, especially since we traveled to them last weekend with a combined 19-man squad from both our 2nd and 3rd teams.

They fielded nearly 30 players, and now claim they don't have enough for this weekend, which is frankly absurd. The RFU's Game On rules are designed to address this very issue. The sooner Yorkshire implements a 2nd XI league or allows us to move up to the Championship, the better.
