On Saturday, James Bulmer hit yet another scoring milestone at Morley, calmly stroking over his 700th point in the Red, White and Black. Already sitting second on our all-time points list since official records began, Bully hit the milestone in his 159 game since his debut. We’re hoping he can replicate the form that has seen him top our season scoring charts in three of the past four seasons:
- 2021/22 – 145 points
- 2022/23 – 151 points
- 2024/25 – 101 points
- This season – 22 points so far (despite not playing or kicking in every game)
He still has some ground to make up on the runaway leader, Ian Cooke, who sits comfortably at the top with 2242 points. Our top ten points scorers on record are:
- Ian Cooke – 2242 (412 games)
- James Bulmer – 701 (159) BOLD – still playing
- Paul Angus – 633 (234)
- Zweli Sodladla – 545 (69)
- Teei Piawi – 520 (53)
- Sam Triffitt – 515 (410)
- Ryan Lonsdale – 445 (118)
- Chris Creber – 443 (237)
- Rob Featherstone – 325 (244)
- James Mckay -325 (91)
A tremendous achievement from a player who continues to deliver season after season.
Well done, mate.
