As usual, we will hold elections for the key officer positions in line with the club constitution. Nominations are now open, and voting will take place at the meeting for the following roles:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
In addition, five new strategic roles will be introduced. Officers appointed to these positions will each lead their own teams, helping to shape and deliver the future of Malton & Norton RUFC. All existing committee roles will be integrated into this new structure.
This marks an important and exciting step in the evolution of our club. At the meeting, we will also share a full summary of what can be achieved over the next five years and beyond. Below is a Snapshot summary please take time to read ahead of the meeting.

Exec Summary
Rugby at our Core. Community at our Heart.
Over the past five years, we’ve built strong foundations. Now we need clarity about the next phase. Our direction is simple: Rugby at our core. Community at our heart.
Rugby remains our primary purpose. We exist to develop players, compete with pride, and build a clear pathway from juniors to senior rugby. Player safety is critical. Standards matter. Discipline matters. Sustainability matters.
But we are also more than 80 minutes on a Saturday/Sunday. We are a club rooted in North Yorkshire - bringing together farming families, tradespeople, local business owners and professionals under one badge.
Over the next five years, we will strengthen rugby performance, retain our players, secure our finances, and fully utilise our facilities as a year-round community hub.
We will measure success not just by league tables, but by participation, retention, financial strength and reputation.
This is about being one club — ambitious, grounded, and proud of who we are.
