BACK IN THE GAME (BITG)
Our 3rd XV v Scarborough
Over the past 6 weeks we have invited novices, ex-players and rugby dads to join us on Tuesday evenings to get back into rugby. We had a great start getting 20 players joining us for a couple of nights some of which are starting to be included with in our senior teams.
This Tuesday will be no different with Johnsy our lead (BITG) coach looking to get a fantastic turnout ahead of the selected club fixture our new or returning players have been working towards Scarborough at home.
The 2s are pushing for big numbers at training ahead of their own local derby away at Silver Royd.
Saturday see’s Scarborough head along the A64 for our North One East fixture kicking off at 14.15, followed by our BITG squad taking on Scarborough’s danesmen at 16.30 under the lights on the top pitch if it withstands the first game. We have booked entertainment for the early evening and we are hoping you will come along, support local sport and cheer us to victory.
Players meal and entertainment for all afterward which includes an acoustic set or two, maybe a DJ.
