Former head coach Richard John has now started in his role as the appointed Club Development Officer (CDO), Johnsy will be operating out of the office in the clubhouse on selected days and the role will be to help deliver Rugby into schools and assist the non rugby teachers in delivering rugby encouraging school students to visit/join the rugby club outside of school into our mini and junior age groups.
Rich will also then be working with all age group coaches at the club to delivery high quality coaching sessions and help them develop there own coaching skills. The clear vision from the club stakeholders will be to ensure the flow of players from the junior section into senior rugby is a smooth process and are equipped with appropriate rugby skills preparing them for senior rugby, ultimately producing our own home grown players.
He is also coaching the 2XV on Saturdays.
