We’re thrilled to unveil a new and exciting partnership with Hardgear Sportswear, official suppliers of Canterbury apparel.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, Canterbury will become the club’s Official Kit Supplier, bringing fresh energy and expertise to help elevate the Malton & Norton Rugby Club brand.

Hardgear & Canterbury which is part of the Pentland Group—are renowned for their commitment to quality, innovation, and performance. With a strong track record and their experience of outfitting teams from grassroots to elite levels including this summer the British & Irish Lions is a perfect match for our club’s ambitions.

“This collaboration marks an important milestone as the club refreshes its identity both on and off the pitch,” said Richard John, Director of Rugby. “We’re excited for our players, staff, and supporters to be part of this new chapter.”

An official online club shop is currently in development and set to launch in August, featuring a complete range of merchandise, selected kits and Malton & Norton Lions Origin limited merchandise with other long term merchandise products expected—including equal offerings for women and girls.

After the excellent work over the past few years to align the club kits throughout the teams our vision is to continue this incorporating a Canterbury version of the “vibrant red” kit as used by the 1st XV, U23s & three out of four girls teams last season. The deal will also see the first dedicated Malton Rugby Academy on field apparel be supplied by Canterbury from 2025/26.

Further updates will be shared through the club’s official channels.

For now, we embrace this exciting change—and look forward to a bold new era with Hardgear & Canterbury and would also like to extend our sincere thanks to O’Neills Sportswear for their dedicated support over the past seven seasons.
