Malton and Norton RUFC awards – 2025-2026 season

Malton and Norton RUFC’s mini and junior sections celebrated a fantastic season on Sunday 12th April with their annual presentation event, bringing together players, coaches, and families to recognise the hard work, development, and team spirit shown across all age groups. The event was overseen by outgoing club president Peter Elwess and age grade chairman Anton Wessels, who both praised the continued growth of the section and the strong sense of community that underpins the club.  A range of awards were presented, including Coaches’ Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, and Overall Player of the Year, alongside the TREDS Award, which recognises individuals who best embody rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship. Malton and Norton RUFC continues to welcome new players of all abilities, and anyone interested in joining this rugby family and becoming part of a supportive and thriving community next season is encouraged to get in touch: https://maltonandnortonrufc.rfu.club/contacts
