The committee has decided to postpone the Sportsman’s Dinner on 28 March and St George’s Dinner on 24 April due to the coronavirus pandemic.

All other club functions will NOT go ahead for the time being. All rugby, training etc is suspended until 14 April but we expect this to be extended. Sponsors of the remaining League matches are being informed. The planned farewell to Chris Creber at what would have been the last home match on 4 April is also cancelled. Other postponements will include the Minis and Juniors Awards presentations and the Senior and Women’s awards dinner scheduled for 1 May.

The Summer Ball on 30 May and AGM on 3 June have not yet been postponed and a decision will be made in due course.

Further information will be published on the club’s website.
These are extremely difficult times for everyone but I am sure the rugby and local community spirit will ultimately prevail.

Please keep safe.

Vice Chairman
