A little how to guide to GMS

Club website Registration, Player Registration and Club Membership are different things but all on Game management system (GMS).

The GMS has been a tool used by club registrars, club officials for a number of years but from last season the RFU are requesting certain things are now completed on this. Moving forward GMS will is your rugby hub whether booking on a club coaching courses or referee areas will eventually be populated.

Understanding the difference in registration,

1. In past season only registered players needed to have an online profile with the RFU. Starting from this season the RFU have asked clubs to have their members listed to the online database supplied through GMS to comply with GDPR laws.

All club members new and old (players and social) need to be registered with our website. Parents of children (COLTS and under) wanting to play for Malton & Norton need to register themselves and their children with the clubs website before any playing registration can be request or any membership purchased. The parent is eligible for our free Sunday Membership unless he/she is a senior player.

Follow the online process, it will either say you or your children already have a RFU account.  This will notify us and old accounts may be linked. Certain rules apply to merging accounts

Once registered with the club website the RFU may request you the submit playing registrations request, please note senior player registration requests will be declined, these have to be done by our club registrar.

PARENTS

Age grade registrations will be approved once the “Update Family registration” (UFR) is completed.

The UFR is for the parent to tell us School, Medical conditions, Emergency Contact and RFU permissions. (This is for children who are already connected with our club too)

Once all this is completed the correct club membership can be bought using buy membership, please select the correct mini or junior membership for your children then the free Sunday membership you are entitled to

CLUB MEMBERS

Same as above select from Club membership, Club Membership with season ticket or become a valued Life Member and complete the online process.

SENIOR PLAYERS

Select from either the Full players membership or Student player and follow the instructions.
